Establish the exact location first
A grave-care enquiry requires a grave that can be found on site. Gather the section, row and grave number, the name shown on the memorial, and a recent photograph where possible.
Rules and design
Before making changes, ask the administration which planting, edging and flower areas are permitted for the grave type. This matters here because the options include lawn urn row graves and urn family graves in the woodland burial area alongside conventional family and row graves. A natural woodland setting does not automatically mean that every plot may be planted individually.
Two precisely located reference points are useful when arranging a care visit: the northern main entrance and the car park by the ceremonial hall. The official plan shows two other entrances, but their precise locations and current access arrangements are not sufficiently established. Check a different access point with the cemetery administration before the appointment.
